Likely to be a short term sponsorship deal, maximum to end of next season. The OS sponsor is named in early 2015 and I'm sure the club will want to keep 2016/17 free for whoever that is to sponsor the shirts as well.

IIRC, we were the last top-flight club to have a sponsor on our shirt (I'm not referring to times when we wanted one, but couldn't find one).

I preferred those days, but accept they're probably gone forever.

Well, that news is from today, and they say ""We will be speaking with these parties and others over the next few days, and hope to secure a deal to preserve the business and jobs as far as possible.""
